Construction Contracts Administrator

Construction Contracts Administrator role provides administrative support to multiple project teams and perform tasks required to start up, maintain and close out projects in an organized, thorough, and timely manner. Administrator is responsible for managing information as well as internal and external relationships critical to a project’s success.

Work Activities

  • Responsible for determining requirement for furnishing bonds and working with Agent to obtain information.
  • Review insurance certificates for accuracy.
  • Process, collect, review, and recommend execution of contracts.
  • Track changes to design and all changes to contracts.
  • Assist Project Manager with all warranties, as-built drawings, material information and creating O&M manuals.
  • Maintain file for each project including original contract, correspondence, changes/deviations, amendments, clarifications, and payment schedules.
  • Prepare bids and obtain bid bonds as required.
  • Additional work may be required to complete the tasks required for this job.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • 2-5 years administrative support experience. Construction industry experience a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software.

  • Must have ability to work with others and be a team player.
  • Must be able to comply with company’s Drug Free Workplace policy.

  • Good communication skills.
