November 2, 2023 – Buchanan Construction Services selected W.O. Blackstone as the mechanical contractor for a 10,800-square-foot tenant upfit on the third floor of the WestLawn building for AECOM, which took occupancy in mid-October 2023. Located in the heart of Columbia’s historic Bull Street District, this distinctive five-story building – the largest mass-timber office building in South Carolina – was singled out with the Columbia Chamber’s 2023 Golden Nail Award, awarded to businesses for exemplary cosmetic, commercial, or re-purposing contributions to the Midlands.
